This role involves assisting in the assembly of metal stoves on a production line in a manufacturing environment. You will work closely with co-workers to assemble various types of stoves while accurately reading and following blueprints. The position offers hands-on experience in assembly, manufacturing, and production, with training available for motivated individuals who are eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the assembly of metal stoves according to production requirements and quality standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints to correctly assemble various types of stoves.
• Work on a production line alongside other co-workers, maintaining clear and effective communication.
• Follow established manufacturing and production processes to ensure efficiency and consistency.
• Use hand tools and equipment safely and properly during assembly tasks.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the use of required personal protective equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to support a safe and efficient production environment.
• Remain open to training and learning new tasks and procedures as needed.
• Support overtime and additional shifts when requested, especially during busy production periods.

• Prior experience working in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints for assembly work.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with co-workers on the production line.
• Experience in assembly, manufacturing, or production processes.
• Capability to follow detailed instructions and established procedures.
• Willingness to adhere to all safety policies and wear required protective equipment.

• Experience operating machines or equipment in a production or manufacturing setting.
• Openness to training and learning new skills related to assembly and manufacturing.
• Ability to work first shift or weekend shift schedules as needed.
• Comfort working in a non-climate-controlled environment where temperatures can be high in the summer.

You will join a team-oriented production environment where training is provided and a willingness to learn is valued. The schedule options offer flexibility, including a four-day workweek on first shift or focused weekend shifts. The workplace supports open communication, provides necessary protective equipment, and offers opportunities for overtime when production increases, giving you the chance to grow your skills and experience in manufacturing.

Work Environment

This is a hands-on role in a manufacturing facility focused on metal stove assembly. The environment is not climate controlled, so it can become hot during the summer months. Steel toe boots are required, and protective eyewear will be provided if you do not have your own. You are allowed to wear shorts in the summer if you choose. Standard first shift runs Monday through Thursday, four 10-hour days starting at 6:00 a.m., with the possibility of volunteering for overtime on Fridays when needed. There is also a weekend shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, with hours capped at 19 per weekend. The facility emphasizes safety, teamwork, and clear communication on the production line.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Halifax, PA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Halifax,PA.
