Industrial Journeyman PipefitterThe Industrial Journeyman Pipefitter is responsible for assembling, laying out, installing, repairing, and maintaining industrial piping systems and related components in a safe and efficient manner.ResponsibilitiesQualifications:Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Industrial Pipefitter or Pipefitter HelperAbility to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specificationsWorking knowledge of industrial pipefitting procedures and techniquesExperience working on industrial construction or maintenance projectsStrong communication and teamwork skillsDemonstrated leadership abilitiesEssential Job Responsibilities:Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work scope, material requirements, and installation proceduresIdentify tools and equipment required for assigned tasksRecognize workplace hazards and implement appropriate safety measuresFabricate, prepare, install, and fit pipe according to project specificationsInstall valves, flanges, hangers, supports, and other piping componentsPerform quality checks and testing on piping systemsSafely move and position materials using rigging equipment, including slings, chains, shackles, hooks, and cablesFollow all site and company safety requirementsRequired Qualifications:Proven industrial construction and/or maintenance experienceAbility to read and understand construction drawings and technical documentsKnowledge of industrial piping installation and maintenance practicesStrong understanding of pipefitting processes and proceduresGood problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong manual dexterity and mechanical aptitudeAbility to work independently with limited supervisionAbility to work effectively in a team environmentCommitment to ZACHRY's safety culture and company valuesPreferred Qualifications:NCCER Pipefitter CertificationFormal technical or vocational trainingPrevious employment with ZACHRYPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and climb throughout the workdayAbility to lift and carry up to 50 poundsAbility to work in industrial environments and varying weather conditionsAbility to climb ladders, scaffolds, and work at heights while utilizing proper fall protectionAbility to work in confined spaces when requiredMust be able to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, and steel-toe bootsTools & Equipment:Employees must provide basic tools required to support their craft.Site-specific PPE will be provided.Additional tools and equipment may be supplied by the site as needed.Why Join ZACHRY?Stable maintenance work environmentCompetitive pay and benefitsSafety-focused cultureOpportunities for career growth and advancementWork alongside experienced industrial maintenance professionalsSelected candidates must successfully pass all pre-employment screenings and site-specific requirements.ZACHRY is an Equal Opportunity Employer and maintains a safe, drug-free workplace.
