Join a busy practice with instant volume. You will be joining 3 Physicians and 4 ARNP's in a traditional outpatient family medicine with optional obstetrics practice. Call is very minimal at 1:8, phone only. Lab, X-Ray, and pharmacy are on site. Team engagement scores are very high. There is a $150,000 bonus package available. The compensation package is highly competitive with a 2-year income guarantee of $290,000+/year plus a full benefits package, including health/dental/vision/disability, generous PTO package, employer match retirement options, $4,000 CME credit/year, and paid malpractice and tail coverage. Benefits start day 1 of employment. There is also up to $15,000 in moving allowance.

Located 2 miles from MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center- Mason City, a 342-bed regional referral teaching hospital named Top 100 Hospital nationally. The regional health system covers 15 counties and includes MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, eight critical access hospitals, and 42 clinics in northern Iowa and southern Minnesota with a network service area of approximately 260,000.

Candidates must be board certified within 3 years of becoming eligible, H1B & J1 candidates are accepted, and PSLF eligible.

Mason City, Iowa has a population of ~30,000 and is the largest urban center in north Iowa. It is 2 hours from Minneapolis and Des Moines. The community has excellent schools, a community college, and is rich in history, music, and architecture. Community amenities include a nature center, indoor ice arena, fine arts museum, performing arts theater, regional orchestra, aquatic center, YMCA fitness center, library, 18-hole golf course, bike trails, outdoor recreation, and shopping and dining. The cost of living is 24% lower than the national average. There is a municipal airport offering daily direct flights to/from Chicago and it is 8 miles from Clear Lake, a beautiful resort lake community.

Graduate of a medical/osteopathic medical school is required. Demonstrated competency as a physician by completion of an appropriate residency program; board certified or board eligible. Must be able to obtain Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa medical staff privileges. Above average communication skills. Ability to work with a team. Licensed or eligible for State of Iowa physician license; Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate.
