Purchasing Coordinator
Sheet metal manufacturing/fabrication company seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to manage material purchasing and vendor coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Process purchase orders and obtain vendor quotes.
- Purchase sheet metal, hardware, supplies, and outside services.
- Track orders, pricing, lead times, and deliveries.
- Coordinate material requirements with Production and Engineering.
- Follow up on shortages, delays, and backorders.
- Maintain accurate purchasing and vendor records.
- Assist with inventory and material planning.
Qualifications:
- 2+ year of purchasing/manufacturing experience preferred.
- Sheet metal/fabrication experience a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with good follow-through.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; ERP experience preferred.
Temporary to Hire
7:30am-4:00pm
$21–$23/hour
