We are looking for an HR Coordinator to support daily human resources operations in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This Long-term Contract position focuses on delivering a smooth onboarding experience, maintaining accurate employee records, and assisting with core administrative HR activities. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience handling compliance-related tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate end-to-end onboarding activities for new hires, ensuring required documents, orientation materials, and welcome packets are prepared on time.
• Manage HR administrative processes by organizing employee files, maintaining folders, and keeping records complete and up to date.
• Support background screening workflows by tracking status, following up on outstanding items, and helping ensure timely completion.
• Enter and update employee information in HRIS platforms while monitoring data accuracy and consistency across records.
• Assist with compliance-related documentation and help maintain HR practices that align with company policies and applicable regulations.
• Respond to routine employee and manager inquiries related to onboarding steps, HR forms, and administrative procedures.
• Partner with internal HR team members to improve coordination of hiring and onboarding activities across the organization.• 2+ years of experience in HR coordination, HR administration, or a related human resources support role.
• Hands-on experience managing onboarding tasks and new employee documentation.
• Familiarity with pre-employment screening processes and general screening coordination.
• Working knowledge of HRIS systems and confidence updating employee data accurately.
• Understanding of HR compliance requirements and the importance of confidential record handling.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills with a detail-oriented and service-oriented approach.
