Agronomy CDL Driver (Class A or B) Ottawa, IL $26.0030.00/Hour
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Agronomy CDL Driver for a respected agricultural operation in the Ottawa, IL area. This position is responsible for operating a Tender Truck or Nurse Truck to support agronomy and field operations during the agricultural season. Candidates must possess a valid Class A or Class B CDL, Tanker Endorsement, Hazmat Endorsement, and be able to operate a manual transmission.
Schedule- Monday through Friday
- 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Weekend work as needed during peak seasons
- $26.00-30.00 per hour
- Safely operate tender trucks and nurse trucks to transport seed, fertilizer, and crop protection products.
- Deliver products to field locations in a timely and efficient manner.
- Load and unload liquid and dry agricultural products as needed.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate delivery and transportation records.
- Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
- Communicate effectively with agronomy staff, dispatch, and customers.
- Assist with other agronomy-related duties during downtime.
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL.
- Current Tanker and Hazmat Endorsements required.
- Ability to drive a manual transmission.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety practices.
- Previous agricultural, agronomy, tender truck, or nurse truck experience preferred.
- Ability to work long hours during busy planting and harvest seasons.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
