Radiology Technologist II-Cath Lab $20K Hiring Incentive

Internal candidates must apply by midnight on the Closing Date in order to have bidding rights. Performs diagnostic and interventional medical radiographic procedures and studies with a thorough understanding of standard radiography and fluoroscopy. Produces high quality exams and procedures and is knowledgeable and proficient with hemodynamic and imaging equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of sterile technique and disposable supplies used during interventional cardiovascular procedures. Accurately assesses patient hemodynamic status and responds appropriately to changes in patient status to ensure positive outcomes. Responsible for maintenance of quality assurance for radiologic safety, equipment and the development of imaging acquired during cardiovascular procedures performed in the hospital. Cross‑trains with the ability and knowledge to assist the cardiologists, interventional radiologists, and vascular surgeons in the performance of all non‑invasive and invasive cardiovascular and interventional radiology procedures. Speaks and reads English at a level that is sufficient to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position. Has knowledge of standard office equipment (i.e., calculator, fax, photocopier) and personal computer and computer software skills (i.e., MS Windows, Excel, Access, Word, Powerpoint, internet, e‑mail). Windows computer skills include proficient use of keyboarding, use of mouse or keys for functions such as selecting items, use of drop‑down menus, scroll bars, opening folders, copying and similar operations required upon employment or within the first two weeks of employment to perform the essential functions of the job.
