Anticipated hire date: November 2, 2026 Hiring incentive: $7,500 for Certified Firefighter/Paramedic or $5,000 for Paramedic Only! How You Add Value

• Ability to perform firefighting and fire prevention activities in protecting life and property.
• Successfully maintain and operate firefighting apparatus and equipment.
• Provide medical assistance and Advanced Life Support first responder pre-hospital emergency medical care and assistance to victims.
• Perform minor station maintenance.
• Participate in a variety of training to maintain skills.

What You Bring to the Role

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Candidates must be at least 19 years of age.
• Candidates must possess a valid driver's license. Candidates that do not possess a Class B Texas license must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Class B license.
• To be eligible for this application process, candidates must meet one of the following:
  • TCFP Certified Basic Structural Firefighter with TxDSHS Paramedic certification OR
  • TxDSHS Paramedic certification only
