Make an impact as a long-term substitute Occupational Therapist supporting students in a dynamic educational environment. This in-person contract opportunity runs from December 14, 2026, through March 30, 2027, and offers a rewarding chance to collaborate with a dedicated Special Education Department near Hilliard, OH.

You’ll champion the needs of students by delivering occupational therapy services focused on fostering independence and engagement across school settings. The ideal candidate will thrive in close-knit teams, bring creativity to everyday challenges, and feel passionate about student growth.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Ohio
• Prior experience delivering OT services in school-based settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and progress monitoring
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Flexible, adaptable, and solution-oriented in a school environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
• Assess students’ functional abilities, needs, and progress within the school context
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise on student support strategies
• Work closely with teachers and support staff to implement accommodations and modifications
• Document sessions and progress reports in compliance with district and legal requirements
• Consult with families and colleagues to promote carryover of skills across environments
