- Design, analyze, and detail structures for manufacturing facilities, ensuring compliance with applicable building codes and standards (ASCE 7, IBC, UL).
- Utilize AutoCAD to prepare structural drawings and designs.
- Conduct structural analysis and design of concrete, steel, and masonry structures using building codes.
- Use Excel and other software tools for engineering calculations and data analysis.
- Design and optimize Solar PV structures, ensuring their structural integrity and efficiency.
- Ideate with Product and Project Management to determine best roadmap for customers.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. A Master's degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably within Solar PV industry.
- Must have experience working on Commercial and Industrial projects. Residential is a nice to have.
- Leadership experience or the drive/skills to become a leader is a must.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and other relevant software.
- Knowledge of building codes and standards (ASCE 7, IBC, UL).
- Experience with Solar PV structures is highly desirable.
- STAAD, experience designing cold formed and hot rolled steel, aluminum, and concrete structures is a plus
- This position will require about 25% travel to main offices
