Sr. Supply Chain Specialist

Job Summary

A growing organization in the security and surveillance industry is seeking a Sr. Supply Chain Specialist for a contract/temporary opportunity in Pasadena, CA. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented supply chain professional who enjoys inventory control, procurement support, vendor coordination, logistics, and hands-on warehouse operations.

The Sr. Supply Chain Specialist will work closely with supply chain leadership to support operational readiness, asset accountability, cost control, and accurate inventory management across multiple business functions. Key Responsibilities

- Maintain accountability and inventory control for company assets, including uniforms, vehicles, office supplies, equipment, and operational resources.
- Perform inventory management activities, including cycle counts, audits, inspections, data entry, reporting, and warehouse organization.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records using inventory management or ERP systems.
- Coordinate the issuance and return of company property for new hires, transfers, and employee separations.
- Support procurement, vendor relations, vendor onboarding, cost-control initiatives, and purchasing activities.
- Assist with logistics coordination, warehouse operations, special projects, contract launches, and operational transitions.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay range: $28.00 to $35.00 per hour.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Support inventory control, asset tracking, cycle counts, audits, and warehouse organization.
- Assist with procurement activities, vendor management, purchasing support, and cost-savings initiatives.
- Prepare weekly inventory and procurement reports for leadership.
- Coordinate logistics and company property movement across internal teams.

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, inventory control, or warehouse operations.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, reporting, and data analysis.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Power BI.
- Knowledge of inventory management, warehouse management, or ERP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, Collective Data, or similar platforms.
- Proven ability to manage vendor relationships, support procurement processes, and identify cost-control opportunities.
- Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, work independently, and adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Hands-on approach with willingness to support warehouse, logistics, and inventory operations as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in security, military, manufacturing, retail, or a related operational environment.
- Experience supporting new contract launches, business expansions, or operational transitions.
- Familiarity with asset control for uniforms, vehicles, equipment, office supplies, or field operations resources.
- Prior experience improving inventory accuracy, vendor performance, or procurement processes.
