Estimator

Responsibilities Generate and organize detailed estimates for utility‑scale solar and battery energy storage projects. Collaborate with Preconstruction and Operations teams to assemble detailed estimates. Review plans, specifications, supplier and subcontractor quotes. Create and manage detailed quantity take‑offs from engineering packages. Organise and strategically plan for estimate preparation, pricing, and final submission. Facilitate and formulate crew sizing, resources, and productivity. Demonstrate proficiency in development and management of RFPs to vendors. Calculate quantity take‑offs, material price lists, labour costs, and equipment costs. Track historical data and compile summary reports. Communicate with site teams regarding project execution. Comply with company policies and display professional ethics in the bid process. Input, evaluate, and manage cost data within estimating software. Assist project team with generating project cost allocations. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering or equivalent experience Minimum of 2 years of renewable energy industry estimating experience Knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control and material pricing Proficient in HCSS, Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Outlook, and related software programs Conceptual estimating and solar design experience is required Positive, professional attitude with strong customer service skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Structured time management and self‑motivated Strong teamwork orientation, initiative, problem‑solving, and leadership skills Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record Certifications & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering #J-18808-Ljbffr Jobtailor
