Job Description:
Seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist with minimum 2 years' experience, including at least 1 year in Pediatrics. This role involves assessing and managing airways, providing emergency responses, and managing ventilation for various patient types, including those with CHF, COPD, and respiratory distress/failure.
Responsibilities:
- Airway assessment and management
- Blood gas assessment/draw/analysis
- Emergency response (Rapid response and Code blue)
- Intubation/extubation
- Equipment setup/disassembly
- Vent management
- Continuous nebulizer (infants)
- Breathing treatments
- Working independently as the only RRT on shift
Requirements:
- ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, RRT certifications
- WA state license
- Comfortable being the only RRT on shift
- EMR experience with Epic (minimum 1 year required)
- Experience or comfort with IV starts preferred
