Bartender

Overview
Looking to add a bartender to our team. We are a high volume, upscale restaurant with significant opportunities for a dedicated and driven restaurant professional. AM and weekend availability necessary.

2+ Years of bartending experience in upscale/fine dining atmosphere required.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and health regulations.
• Engage with customers to provide personalized service, taking orders and making recommendations based on their preferences.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through Focus systems.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverage orders during events or busy shifts.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to maintain bar operations.
• Participate in ongoing training related to mixology techniques, customer service skills, and food handling practices.
• Participate in ongoing training related to liquor/spirits knowledge, wine knowledge, and food knowledge.

Skills

• Proficient in Focus POS systems for efficient order processing.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Excellent sales abilities to promote menu items and increase overall revenue.
• Previous experience in fine dining or nightclub settings preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to create memorable guest experiences.
• Experience in the food industry, including catering or banquet services, is a plus.
