Diesel Technician

As a key member of our maintenance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet of over 50 trucks and 250 trailers. Daily Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests to identify issues Repair and replace faulty parts and components Ensure compliance with safety regulations Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs Required Skills: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
• Conduct inspections and identify potential problems
• Repair or replace faulty components and parts
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed via electronics
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations
• Maintain a safe and clean working area
• Ability to remove and replace tires and wheel ends such as hubs, bearing, and races, with the ability to install back to manufacture specifications
• Ability to comprehend, diagnose, and repair electrical issues along with ABS systems
• Proven experience as a mechanic or similar role
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy
• Knowledge ofair brake systems
