Argan Home Care in Port Charlotte, FL is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our growing team. Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care including wound care, medication administration, and vital sign monitoring

Develop and follow individualized patient care plans in coordination with RNs and physicians

Perform skilled nursing assessments and document patient progress accurately

Educate patients and family members on care procedures, medications, and health management

Communicate changes in patient condition to supervising RN or physician promptly

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with home care regulations

Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure continuity and quality of care

Requirements:

Active Florida LPN license in good standing

Previous home care, long-term care, or clinical nursing experience preferred

Strong knowledge of medication administration and wound care protocols

Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a home care setting

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required

CPR/BLS certification required or ability to obtain upon hire

Compassionate, patient-focused demeanor with a commitment to quality care
