About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Commercial to lead the sales and business development strategy. The successful candidate will be the most senior commercial executive in the organization and will be responsible for building and securing offtake for the company's innovative solution. This role is pivotal in addressing the significant challenges in large-scale deployment and will involve both strategic initiatives and direct outbound sales. The VP Commercial will be expected to have a deep understanding of the global market for carbon credits and offsets, including the policy landscape, and a proven track record in direct sales, preferably with experience in a technical industry. Passion and drive to scale an early-stage organization are essential, as is the ability to communicate highly technical concepts to a diverse audience. Key responsibilities for the Vice President, Commercial at the company include leading the overall sales and business development strategy, building and maintaining relationships with existing and new markets, and driving engagement with large corporate and industrial clients to secure offtake for the company's solution. The role is strategic, with a focus on capitalizing on the evolving landscape of carbon capture and removal, and the candidate will have the opportunity to make a real impact by closing a significant volume of deals. The ideal candidate will be adept at selling technical products, passionate about the mission of the organization, and equipped to manage the risks and challenges associated with climate change.
