What You Will Do

Ascension Saint Thomas Heart includes more than 70 cardiac specialists, over 45 locations throughout middle TN and southern KY and continues to lead with many firsts in TN including coronary/PCI stenting; CABG; heart transplant, MitraClip; Watchman and NeoChord technology; cardiac MRI; ST-FFR as well as transcatheter mitral valve replacement.

We are adding a general cardiologist to our growing Murfreesboro-based practice which currently includes 11 cardiologists and 2 CV surgeons. This is a thriving and robust practice with excellent support including a busy lab and an outstanding reputation drawing patients from a 6 county service area.

  • The hospital campus is currently undergoing a $110M expansion project, which includes the addition of 36 new high acuity beds, a parking garage dedicated to hospital employees and physicians, 18 new critical care unit beds, six additional NICU bassinets, 17 new post-surgery bays

What You Will Need

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
