Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

As an itinerant PT, you'll enjoy a dynamic workweek of 37.5 hours, collaborating with education professionals and providing essential services to students with diverse needs.

Key Qualifications:

• Current and active South Carolina Physical Therapist (PT) license required
• Previous experience providing PT services in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong communication and organization skills, especially when collaborating across multiple sites
• Adept at developing and implementing individualized care plans for students aged K-12
• Reliable transportation to travel between school locations as needed

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative PT services to students based on IEP requirements
• Evaluate, plan, and document student progress and treatment outcomes
• Work closely with teachers, families, and other specialists to maximize student success
• Provide coaching and resources to educational staff and families regarding mobility and adaptive strategies
• Maintain documentation in compliance with district and state regulations
