Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT with Jackson Therapy Partners! We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a brand-new location.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• Utah OT license required.
• MSOT or OTD degree from an accredited OT program required.
• Must have passed the NBCOT exam and maintain renewal as appropriate.
• Must have a good understanding of neuro, multi-trauma, and medically complex diagnoses.
• Must be able to complete a thorough chart review and demonstrate understanding of lab values and weight bearing precautions.
• Must have previous use of adaptive equipment for dressing, bathing, and self-feeding.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 7:00am - 7:00pm.
• Shifts are generally 10 hours.
• Specific schedule options include Wednesday to Saturday on week one and Thursday to Saturday on week two, or Sunday to Tuesday on week one and Sunday to Wednesday on week two.
• Alternate weekends required.
• Will be assigned 1-2 late ortho shifts per 2-week pay period.
• Required to help cover same day surgery ortho late and mid shifts Monday through Friday.
• Start times may vary between 7:00am and 8:30am, with late ortho shifts scheduled 9:30am to 8:00pm.
• May float to an acute rehab unit to support the OT team on busy or low staffed days.
