Envirosafe - HVAC Installer

Compensation Details $18.00-$35.00 per hour + incentive bonus opportunities Job Description Install equipment properly the first time at a customer’s location Be neat and clean at all times and keep truck and equipment in proper condition Attend all training classes and training seminars to keep expertise upgraded Adhere to proper procedures in paperwork use (work order, return material tags, etc.) Take direction regarding scheduling from installation manager Keep the Installation Manager informed at all times about location updates Follow through on job problems Turn in all paperwork to office ensuring completeness and accuracy Maintain minimum required stock on truck at all times Perform other tasks as requested by Operations Manager or CEO Supervise and assign job duties to helper as appropriate Qualifications At least 3 years' experience in HVAC Residential Install EPA Certification Good mechanical ability NATE certified or working towards NATE certification Ability to work well under pressure Valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of US driving experience Must have all required tools Ability to handle difficult customer/diagnostic issues Adaptability – manage competing demands and frequent changes, delays or unexpected events Good communicator – works well with different customers and office personnel personality styles Physical Requirements Physically able to lift 50 pounds at a time Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, crawling, or climbing ladders Ability to work outside; exposed to heat and cold Ability to hear and speak to exchange information Benefits Incentive/Commission/Bonus opportunities (Based on role / grade level) 401(k) retirement savings plan with matching company contributions, eligible on your first day Comprehensive health coverage (medical, dental, vision, company paid short-term disability, and long-term disability) and life insurance benefits for you and your dependents Warehouse Merchandise Discount Paid time off & paid holidays (depending on role and month of hire) Career growth & opportunities within several channels (Plumbing, Heating, Cooling, Electrical, Handyman, Customer Service and others) Robust Employee Assistance Program providing professional assistance for personal, legal, financial, work, childcare and elder care support Equal Opportunity Employer Ace Hardware Home Services, Inc. is committed to a policy of promoting equal employment opportunities.
