We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Full-Time Surgeon to become part of our team at the medical group located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This role presents a fantastic opportunity to positively influence the health of our community while working in a nurturing, mission-oriented setting.
Opportunity Overview- Position Type: Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
- Schedule: 24 weeks annually
- Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan - Level 1 Trauma Center
- Specialty: Trauma, Acute and Critical Care

- Board Certified in General Surgery
- Board Certified in Surgical Critical Care
- Completion of ACS or SCC Fellowship is required
- Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain one)
- DEA license
- ACLS/BLS certification
Your daily activities may include:
- Delivering comprehensive care in Trauma Surgery, Surgical Critical Care, and Emergency General Surgery
- Participating in the management of trauma patients throughout the entire continuum, from initial resuscitation to rehabilitation
- Acting as a clinical educator for General Surgery Residents and Surgical Critical Care Fellows
- Engaging in clinical research and scholarly pursuits
- Taking part in administrative and leadership roles, including supporting ongoing trauma verification and performance improvement initiatives
- Collaborating on a multidisciplinary trauma program focused on quality, safety, and education
- Documenting patient information in Epic EMR
