Automation Setup Machinist

JOB DESCRIPTION: Produce mechanical components for custom automation equipment. This includes basic set up and operation of CNC and manual machining equipment. In addition, reading drawings and BOM’s to produce components to specifications. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED Valid driver’s license Speak and understand English Read and write proficiently Basic computer skills (Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel) Energetic with a drive for continuous process improvement. Own some basic machinist’s tools – calipers, MICs, indicators, hand tools, etc. Two years of machining experience Ability to read prints and select proper tooling to make parts to drawings. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS (PREFERRED): CAM Programming experience Forklift experience PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Regularly lift up to 25 lbs. Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
