Waitstaff serve the residents in the dining rooms and provide meal delivery in a professional manner and style of excellence.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for general table set-up and side work to prepare for approaching mealtime and closing.
• Maintains a clean working environment and performs cleaning duties at service down time.
• Performs general busing of dishes and silverware as well as ensuring that the tabletops and chairs are clean at all times.
• At all times carry out proper service for formal dining.
• Attend and participate in and disseminate information presented in Dining Review.
• Use excellent penmanship.
• Always maintain business etiquette even during non-service times.
• Provide training to all new staff members as assigned by management.
• Arrive on time in proper uniform attire.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications/Skills

• Previous dining experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of proper servicing techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to speak and write in the English language.
• Proficient in POS (Point of Sale).
• Knowledge of using an iPad.

Physical Requirements

• Long periods of standing and walking.
• Required to work in extreme temperatures at times.
• Must be able to lift and push up to 50 pounds periodically.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required.
