Opportunity:

Physician - Gastroenterology

Job Details:

• Ongoing gastroenterology coverage with procedures and call responsibilities


• Schedule includes 10-hour days (7:00 AM to 5:00 PM) plus night call Monday through Friday


• 24-hour call coverage required on weekends (7:00 AM Saturday to 7:00 AM Sunday)


• Coverage needed approximately 1 week per month plus weekends


• Patient population consists of adults 18 years and older


• Daily census ranges from 30-50 total patients with 9-16 new consults per day


• Focus on emergency procedures and inpatient consultations


• No outpatient procedures, ERCP, or EUS performed


• Anesthesiology support available onsite


• EPIC electronic medical record system used


• Board certification (BE or BC) in Gastroenterology required


• Pennsylvania medical license and DEA registration required


• Minimum 1 year of gastroenterology experience required
