Welder - Orangeburg SCOrangeburg, SC Immediately Temporary/ContractCome create your career with Volt.Volt is immediately hiring Welder in Orangeburg, SC.Perks of JobWeekly payGreat company cultureTemp-to-perm opportunityGlobal companyPPE ProvidedFast GrowingGreat benefitsAs a Welder, you will:Perform minor repairs and apply basic welding processes.Manually Mig Weld.Install wires and set the heat for the welding machineVisually inspect weld length and penetration.Identify components for work assignment.Complete operators work sheet on a daily and hourly basis.Refer non-conforming issues to team leader or supervisor.Perform quality checks on a daily basisRead and follow daily production schedule.Handle parts and equipment in a safe manner.Maintain 5s in the work area daily.Fill out operator daily work sheetThis is a Temp to perm opportunity.The ideal Welder candidate will have:Experience with MIG and TIG weldingAbility to successfully pass the departmental welding test is requiredAbility to lift 30lbs-50lbs consistently throughout the shift is requiredDemonstrated skill in all job functions including setup and changeovers is requiredAbility to work overtime, off shifts and weekends as required, in addition to willingness to rotate jobs as required.Flexibility to change departments when needed1st shift - Monday - Friday 5:30am-2:00pm2nd shift - Monday - Friday 2:00pm-10:30pmPay Rate: $21.00-22.00 per hourBenefits: Volt offers benefits (based on eligibility) that include the following: health, dental, vision, term life, short term disability, AD&D, 401(k), Sick time, and other types of paid leaves (as required by law), Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits any kind of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
