Job Title: OR Registered Nurse

License: Required

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (preferred)

Must-Have:
2-3 years of experience in the specialty is required.
2-3 previous travel assignments are required.
Ortho experience is required.
Experience passing the arms in and out for Robotics is required.
Must have experience with all specialties for evening/night shift.
Must be comfortable circulating cases as needed.
Scrubbing experience is a plus, but not required.

Description:
The role involves working in the operating room.
There are 9 operating rooms, 1 procedure room, and 1 hybrid room.
The average number of cases per day is 35-45.
Common cases include General, ENT, eyes, ortho, robotics, and trauma.
Experience with neuro spine, fusions, joints, and scopes is needed.
Emergent cases also include appendectomies and craniotomies among others.
Charge nurse experience is desirable, but not mandatory.
Travelers will rotate through charge duties.
Weeknight on-call is required, with one weeknight per week from 7 PM to 7 AM.
Weekend on-call requires one 24-hour shift per month from 7 AM to 7 PM.
Holiday on-call is as needed.
A call response time of 30 minutes is expected.
Floating to outpatient surgery may be necessary.
Scrubs are provided for all staff.
Orientation specific to the unit is provided.
The facility seeks adaptable individuals willing to learn and refresh on service lines.
Shifts may vary, including early mornings and late nights as required.
All staff are responsible for maintaining room cleanliness.
Most OR staff are travelers.
