Diesel Mechanic/Technician in Windsor, CT

Diesel Mechanic/Technician – up to $32/hour. Work Monday to Friday; weekends off. Heated shop, well lit, no travel required. Transervice offers free health care paid at 100% for employees. Responsibilities Work alongside three other technicians. Maintain safety and mechanical excellence including diagnostics and preventative maintenance. Perform preventive maintenance and repair work on fleet vehicles. Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests, identify worn or damaged parts needing repair or replacement. Work day shift, Monday through Friday. Qualifications Class A or B license preferred. Three or more years of related experience or equivalent training. Ability to read, write, and speak English. Basic math skills. ASE certifications a plus. Welding experience. Strong diagnostic skills using OEM and JPro software. Knowledge of hydraulics. Own set of tools. Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 75 pounds. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Computer proficiency with OEM and JPro software and TMT.
