About the Role:

The Project Manager II position ensures smooth communication and project execution between clients and the company. This position manages complex orders, provides updates, addresses client inquiries, and resolves issues. By supporting account managers and maintaining regular communication with team leaders, the Project Manager II helps deliver consistent results and uphold the company's core values.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Advanced degree in a relevant discipline.
• Experience managing projects with cross-border or global teams.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate directly with client to clarify order details and provide order updates.
• Enters more complex orders in ERP system (sub-assemblies, multi-step orders, etc.)
• Attends customer/site visits with account manager to clarify details of projects.
• Answers client questions about substrates, print/finishing methods and product options.
• Uses appropriate internal resources to address customer concerns or complaints when products or services don't meet expectations.
• Provide quotes for routine orders or basic products using CPQ.
• Supports other project managers when they are out of the office.
• Connect with Account Manager and leader weekly to review orders and get aligned.

Analytical skills are essential for assessing project risks, resource needs, and performance metrics to make informed decisions. Effective communication skills enable the manager to convey complex information clearly to stakeholders and foster collaboration among team members. Proficiency with project management software tools supports detailed planning, scheduling, and tracking of project progress. Additionally, knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality standards allows the Project Manager II to align project objectives with operational capabilities and regulatory requirements.
