An exciting opportunity is available for a board-certified Veterinary Cardiologist or a residency-trained clinician nearing completion of their programme who is looking to join a collaborative and well-established specialty referral environment. Located in Columbia, South Carolina, this role offers the opportunity to provide advanced cardiac care while working alongside a highly skilled multidisciplinary team. Practice / Hospital / Referral Centre Information This specialist referral hospital is a VECCS Level II and AAHA-accredited facility dedicated to providing exceptional emergency and specialty veterinary care. Equipped with advanced technology and designed to support efficient workflows, the hospital offers a modern clinical environment focused on delivering excellent patient outcomes and client experiences. Departments The hospital provides a comprehensive range of specialty services including Cardiology, Oncology, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Anesthesia and Pain Management, Rehabilitation, and 24/7 Emergency and Critical Care services. Staffing Levels The team consists of experienced specialists, emergency clinicians, skilled veterinary technicians, and dedicated support staff who work collaboratively to manage complex cases and deliver high-quality patient care across multiple disciplines. Qualifications Required Candidates must hold a DVM or VMD degree (or equivalent), be eligible for veterinary licensure in the relevant state, and hold or be eligible for a DEA license. Applicants must be board certified or have completed, or be in the process of completing, a residency in veterinary cardiology accredited by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) or the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ECVIM).
