Procurement Associate

Kforce has a client in need of a Procurement Associate in Jersey City, NJ. Responsibilities:

• Support procurement operations by coordinating contract, purchase order, and supplier engagement activities
• Process procurement requests and ensure required documentation is completed accurately and on time
• Maintain data accuracy across procurement, vendor, and purchasing systems
• Partner with internal stakeholders to facilitate procurement transactions and resolve processing issues
• Monitor contract renewals, expirations, and procurement lifecycle activities
• Track operational performance metrics and help ensure service levels are achieved
• Analyze procurement data to identify trends related to spending, suppliers, and transaction activity
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data tracking tools to support business decisions
• Prepare recurring procurement and vendor reporting for leadership and key stakeholders
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to procurement processes, reporting, and data management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, vendor management, operations, or a related field
• Experience working with procurement, purchasing, contract management, or enterprise business systems
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation
• Ability to interpret business data and communicate insights effectively
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and process improvement skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and reporting tools
