We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating a NON -CNC Press Brake machine for fabrication of building components from galvanized coil and a strong understanding of the fabrication processes. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for running coils to length on an uncoiler, sometimes shear to width, then punch and form those parts on large mechanical press brakes. Strong basic math skills (i.e. shop drawings & tape measure) are a must. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints effectively.

Responsibilities

• Setting up machine based on each task
• Read and interpret drawings
• Operating forklifts and overhead crane
• Basic organizational skills, communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with little direction
• Familiarity with reading and understanding a tape measure
• Must keep workstation clean and organized
