Missouri Dental Specialists is seeking a driven, enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our fast-paced, high-volume specialty dental practice. This role is crucial for providing expert chairside support, managing inventory, and contributing to both clinical and occasional administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is adaptable, self-motivated, and eager to grow within a collaborative, excellence-focused environment, requiring weekly travel between our Jefferson City and Rolla locations.
We are a high-volume specialty dental practice, primarily focused on root canal treatment (endodontics), dedicated to delivering timely, compassionate, and high-quality care. Our patients rely on us during stressful moments, making efficiency, clinical skill, and thoughtful patient care the heart of our operations. We maintain a steady Monday–Friday schedule, ensuring our team remains busy, engaged, and supported while making a real impact on patient health every day. We are committed to team collaboration and ongoing success.

Pay

$15~$20 per hour

Job Description

Provide skilled chairside dental assisting support during specialty procedures.
Manage and perform dental imaging, including traditional radiographs and CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography) imaging.
Execute thorough sterilization protocols and maintain strict infection control standards.
Conduct inventory tracking and supply management to ensure clinical efficiency.
Provide occasional support for administrative duties, including phone support and basic insurance verification.
Build lasting, professional relationships with patients, teammates, and referring dental offices.
Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to work occasional extended hours for emergency patient care.

Shift & Schedule

Work Days & Core Hours:
Monday, Friday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Travel Expectation: Required travel two days per week to the Rolla location from the primary base in Jefferson City.
