Senior DC Trainer

DC Trainer The DC Trainer is responsible for training all new distribution center employees in processes of picking, packing, and shipping. The DC Trainer also handles industrial equipment training, re‑training, and code roll training, and works with the Continuous Improvement team on new processes or process changes. You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities: Read and comprehend order information and work instructions Provide direct hands‑on training and instruction concerning work instructions utilized in the distribution center Maintain training log Conduct new hire orientations Practice 5S and Safety React to change effectively and handle other tasks as assigned Assist with preparation of training material Assist with classroom onboarding and training Flexibility to perform and execute additional training duties assigned Flexibility to support other shifts if necessary The TOOLS You’ll Bring With You High School or GED diploma required Excellent organizational skills and time management skills required Basic math and basic computer skills in Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint High attention to detail Ability to perform work per instructions and within reasonable time Knowledge of all distribution center functions: pick, pack, receive and ship product Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Other TOOLS We Prefer You To Have High Jump Experience preferred but not required Training or Leadership experience preferred but not required Working Conditions Manufacturing Plant Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling of tools and boxes?
