Deciphera is leveraging its proprietary switch-control kinase inhibitor platform and deep expertise in kinase biology to develop a broad portfolio of innovative medicines. In addition to advancing multiple product candidates from Deciphera’s platform in clinical studies, QINLOCK® (ripretinib) is Deciphera’s switch-control kinase inhibitor approved in many countries including the European Union and the United States for the treatment of adult patients with advanced gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST) who have received prior treatment with 3 or more kinase inhibitors, including imatinib. ROMVIMZA® (vimseltinib) is a kinase inhibitor approved in the United States for adult patients with symptomatic tenosynovial giant cell tumor (TGCT) for which surgical resection will potentially cause worsening functional limitation or severe morbidity, and in the European Union for adult patients with TGCT associated with clinically relevant physical function deterioration and in whom surgical options have been exhausted or would induce unacceptable morbidity or disability. Job Description Deciphera is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Territory Manager with a passion for building customer partnerships and preparing for the anticipated launch of tirabrutinib, a highly potent and selective Bruton tyrosine kinase (BTK) inhibitor being advanced for patients with relapsed or refractory primary central nervous system lymphoma (R/R PCNSL). PCNSL is a rare and aggressive extra-nodal non-Hodgkin lymphoma with significant unmet need, and tirabrutinib represents an important potential new treatment option for patients facing limited therapeutic choices. The Territory Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a territory business plan, building strong relationships with key customers and treatment centers, and partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders to support launch readiness and help bring tirabrutinib to patients in need. This role requires the ability to provide disease education on PCNSL, communicate the clinical profile of tirabrutinib, describe pivotal data in a clear and compelling manner, and address both clinical and non-clinical barriers that may impact treatment adoption and patient access. The Territory Manager will also be expected to bring forward market insights, adapt quickly to changing launch dynamics, and contribute to a seamless experience for providers and patients within the assigned geography. Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Position: Develop and execute a strategic territory business plan aligned to brand objectives and tailored to the needs of customers, accounts, and treatment centers within the assigned geography. Build strong relationships with hematology/oncology healthcare professionals, key accounts, and other appropriate stakeholders to support disease state education, product readiness, and access for patients who may benefit from tirabrutinib. Communicate the clinical profile of tirabrutinib, present pivotal trial data clearly and credibly, and address clinical and non-clinical barriers in a meaningful way with customers involved in hematology patient care. Build, maintain, and apply deep clinical and business expertise related to PCNSL, the treatment landscape, competitive dynamics, customer segment needs, local market access, and the broader marketplace. Identify territory opportunities and barriers to patient access, synthesize market insights, and use those insights to inform territory execution and cross-functional collaboration. Develop account and prescriber action plans with clear objectives, use data and analytics to assess trends and progress, and adjust plans as needed to address evolving market conditions and business dynamics. Collaborate effectively with internal partners including Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Commercial Operations, and other field-based colleagues to support coordinated execution, launch readiness, and a seamless experience for providers and patients. Provide field feedback and contribute to the development of resources, tools, and processes that support launch execution, field effectiveness, and customer engagement. Demonstrate strong understanding of the patient journey, treatment landscape, access and reimbursement considerations, and distribution dynamics relevant to the assigned territory. Use CRM and other available tools to support effective territory planning, customer engagement, and execution of business priorities. Execute all activities in a compliant, ethical, and patient-focused manner consistent with company values and policies. Qualifications BS/BA degree in business, life sciences, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred. 8+ year pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience, including 5+ years of direct sales experience in malignant hematology. Experience in rare disease, and/or oral oncolytic markets is strongly preferred. Candidate must reside within the assigned territory. Additionally residing within approximately 50 miles of the primary business hub or area where the majority of customer activity is concentrated is preferred. For this territory, the majority of customer activity is concentrated near Seattle and Denver Ability to understand, interpret, and communicate complex clinical information and pivotal data in a clear, credible, and impactful manner with a range of oncology stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with key customers, treatment centers, and account stakeholders in complex specialty markets. Strong understanding of the sales process, including patient identification, clinical conviction, access and reimbursement considerations, and distribution dynamics. Strong business acumen and ability to use data, analytics, and market insights to inform account planning and territory execution. Experience working cross-functionally with partners such as Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Sales Operations, and Training to support business objectives and field effectiveness. Launch experience in specialty, oncology, hematology, or other complex markets is preferred. Demonstrated ability to analyze business needs, apply market insights, and execute effectively in complex or competitive environments. Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and influence without authority. Ability to adapt to change, manage competing priorities, and operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving launch environment. Must consistently act with high ethical standards and maintain a strong commitment to compliance. Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the assigned territory as needed. Territory / Work Location: This is a field-based role. Candidates must reside within the assigned territory to effectively support customer coverage and travel requirements. Assigned territory is WA, OR, ID, MO, CO, WY, ND, SD, NE, AK Additional Information Deciphera is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary pay range for this role is $176,800 - $243,236. Actual compensation packages will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to depth of experience, education, skillset, overall performance and/or location.​ Deciphera believes in providing a competitive compensation and benefits package to all employees.
