Medical Science Liaison - Obesity and Related Conditions - MS/AR

Amgen seeks a Medical Science Liaison to serve as a scientific resource to obesity specialists, healthcare decision makers, and providers across Mississippi and Arkansas. The role involves peer-to-peer engagement, clinical research support, and evidence-based communication to advance patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct peer-to-peer discussions with opinion leaders and healthcare providers on obesity science and clinical data
- Engage with clinical investigators and sites supporting obesity-focused pipeline development
- Present balanced scientific and economic data to population health decision makers within health systems
- Support Amgen-sponsored research and serve as liaison for non-sponsored clinical investigations
- Lead congress activities, speaker training, and provide field insights to inform internal strategies
Requirements
- Doctorate degree, or Master's degree with 3+ years Medical Affairs experience, or Bachelor's degree with 5+ years Medical Affairs experience
- Strong scientific and clinical communication skills with healthcare providers
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders
- Knowledge of obesity and related conditions preferred
- Experience with clinical research or medical research valued
