Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader

At Outdoor Living Southeast, we're looking for leaders, not just landscapers.

As a Landscape Maintenance Team Leader, you'll lead a crew of 2–3 team members while delivering exceptional service to our commercial clients. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in producing quality work, enjoys mentoring others, and leads by example every day.

What You'll Do
As a Team Leader, you'll be responsible for both the quality of the work and the success of your crew.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead, train, and motivate a crew of 2–3 team members.
• Complete a weekly commercial maintenance route safely and efficiently.
• Ensure every property meets Outdoor Living Southeast's quality standards.
• Operate commercial mowing and landscape equipment safely.
• Mow, edge, trim, blow, prune, weed, and maintain landscape beds.
• Perform basic shrub and ornamental pruning.
• Complete work orders, route updates, and time tracking using company software.
• Conduct daily equipment and vehicle inspections.
• Maintain clean, organized trucks, trailers, and equipment.
• Communicate professionally with customers and respond to questions on-site.
• Identify property concerns and communicate recommendations to management.
• Promote a safe work environment and ensure company safety procedures are followed.
• Lead by example through professionalism, accountability, and a positive attitude.

What We're Looking For

• Previous landscape maintenance experience required.
• Previous crew leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience operating commercial landscape equipment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Comfortable using smartphones or tablets for routing and company software.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to train and coach others.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical outdoor work throughout the day.
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
