Senior Patient Accounts Representative

Ensuring accurate patient demographic information and proper billing processes, the part-time remote Senior Patient Accounts Representative will manage claims submissions, payment processing, and assist with patient inquiries while supporting compliance and training initiatives. Key responsibilities Submits claims to insurance companies and follows up on outstanding claims Processes and posts payments to patients' accounts while reconciling monthly charges Assists patients with insurance and billing questions, providing written responses to inquiries Required qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent/relevant experience, certification, or license Minimum 3 years of relevant experience required Advanced knowledge of billing procedures and coding expertise Proficiency in using office software and relevant computer applications Ability to learn new procedures and adapt to changing priorities
