Staff Accountant A CPA firm is seeking a staff accountant. Responsibilities Perform daily bookkeeping tasks (journal entries, bank reconciliation, etc.) Process payroll reports and quarterly tax filings Compile financial statements Prepare and file individual and business tax returns Qualifications Quick learning ability, perform well under pressure, general math skills, deadline-oriented, attention to detail. Excel proficiency. Quickbooks, Lacerte experience a huge plus. Familiar with US GAAP and tax codes. OPT/CPT/OPT Extension OK. Accounting Internship Seeking an enthusiastic and motivated accounting intern who is ready to apply accounting knowledge and principles to authentic real-world situations and to learn and gain first-hand experience in a well-established accounting firm. The intern will assist with a wide range of duties, including helping perform tax research, preparing financial reports, and assisting with reconciling accounts and other duties, as needed. Qualifications Self-motivated, college student major in accounting, finance and other related fields. OPT/CPT/OPT Extension OK. #J-18808-Ljbffr
