Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver independent and delegated nursing care based on state Board of Nursing guidelines and best practice standards.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring safety and comfort in a high-acuity setting.
• Perform ongoing health status evaluations through data collection and assessment.
• Educate, counsel, and support patients and their families on health, therapy, and treatments.
• Provide life-sustaining treatments directly or via consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching.
• Execute delegated medical functions and refer patients for further evaluation or care as needed.
• Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans, intervening as necessary.
• Maintain accurate, regulatory-compliant documentation.
• Employ available resources effectively, supporting hospital mission and service behavior standards.
• Float between departments and participate in on-call rotations as required by facility needs.
