Special Education Teacher (Math Resource) - Grades 6-12

Position Type: Full-Time, Monday - Friday Pay Rate: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour (Dependent on Experience) Grade Levels: 6th - 12th Grade (Middle School & High School) Number of Openings: 1 Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher to serve in a Math Resource role for middle and high school students (Grades 6-12) in the Fort Worth, TX area. This position focuses on delivering targeted small-group mathematics instruction, managing student caseloads, and collaborating closely with our Special Education team. The school's long-term goal for this position is to convert quality team members into direct, full-time staff. Key Responsibilities Provide specialized small-group resource instruction in Mathematics for students in grades 6 through 12. Manage assigned IEP caseloads, document service minutes, and track individual student progress. Plan, write, and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings. Collaborate effectively with general education teachers, school administrators, and support staff to ensure student success. Qualifications & Requirements Content Certification: Active Texas Content Area / Generalist Certification covering middle and high school grades (6+). Experience: Strong background or comfortable familiarity with secondary mathematics instruction is strongly preferred . Demonstrated ability to manage IEP compliance, progress monitoring, and classroom instruction. Highlights & Compensation Schedule: Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday.
