Overview:
We are seeking an Accountant to join a growing accounting and finance team. This opportunity is ideal for an accounting professional with 2–4 years of experience who is looking to build a long-term career in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage various aspects of the monthly close process for assigned accounts
- Prepare and maintain detailed account reconciliations and financial reporting schedules
- Reconcile cash receipts, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and related general ledger activity
- Assist with preparation of monthly financial statements and analytical reviews
- Record accruals, prepaid expenses, depreciation, amortization, and other journal entries
- Support audit, tax, and budgeting processes
- Ensure financial reporting complies with established accounting standards and internal policies
- Assist with complex accounting activities including equity and investment accounting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- 2–4 years of accounting experience preferred
- Public accounting or busy season experience strongly preferred
- Strong Excel skills required; ERP system exposure is a plus
- Candidates must be CPA-eligible or actively pursuing CPA certification
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and desire for long-term professional growth
