Harris Electric Inc is a well known electrical contractor established over 55 years ago, in Fresno, CA. We are a family owned business that seek individuals to help this company grow.
We are currently seeking an Electrician Trainee. This is an opportunity to learn the trade under the supervision of a journeyman electrician in industrial, commercial, and residential applications. You will be taught to perform different electrical tasks to help you grown and be a certified electrician
Responsibilities:
- Install and repair electrical panels, light fixtures, and lighting controls
- Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems
- Troubleshoot circuitry issues
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
- Assist Journeyman electrician and follow instructions
- Install power outlets and carry out circuit terminations
- Help set up and ground main switchgear in new construction
Qualifications:
- Must be CA state certified Electrician Trainee
- Highly motivated individual with aptitude to learn
- General construction experience
