Electrician Trainee

Harris Electric Inc is a well known electrical contractor established over 55 years ago, in Fresno, CA. We are a family owned business that seek individuals to help this company grow.

We are currently seeking an Electrician Trainee. This is an opportunity to learn the trade under the supervision of a journeyman electrician in industrial, commercial, and residential applications. You will be taught to perform different electrical tasks to help you grown and be a certified electrician

Responsibilities:

Install and repair electrical panels, light fixtures, and lighting controls
Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems
Troubleshoot circuitry issues
Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
Assist Journeyman electrician and follow instructions
Install power outlets and carry out circuit terminations
Help set up and ground main switchgear in new construction

Qualifications:

Must be CA state certified Electrician Trainee
Highly motivated individual with aptitude to learn
General construction experience
