Cardiac Sonographer Outpatient Setting

Location: Outpatient Cardiology Practice

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer to join our outpatient cardiology practice. The primary responsibilities include performing and interpreting non-invasive cardiac studies, including 2D and M Mode echocardiography and stress echocardiography. Our practice is set in a stable outpatient environment with prescheduled studies, ensuring no floating, call, weekends, or holidays are required.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and interpret preliminary non-invasive cardiac studies.
• Conduct echocardiogram and stress echocardiogram procedures.
• Prepare and interpret quality studies for physicians.
• Perform all outpatient cardiac testing as ordered by medical staff.
• Conduct non-invasive vascular monitoring.
• Assist with Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in echocardiogram technician position or related experience.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) required.
• Experience in Echo and echo stress testing is a must.
• Reg Cardiac Sonographer or Reg Diag Cardiac Sonographer certification required.
