About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician for a 60-day assignment starting Jun 22, 2026, in Massachusetts. Our client requires a physician to provide patient care, including rounding on sick patients, managing cases with an addiction component, and coordinating care with external providers. The schedule involves daily shifts from 7 AM to 3 PM, beginning with rounds at 7:30 AM, focusing on patient review and administrative tasks, with occasional patient consultations.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Round on sick patients, conducting daily reviews of 20-30 individuals in the medical unit.
• Manage an addiction component for opioid use disorder.
• Provide consultation on prenatal care cases as needed, collaborating with OB/GYN providers.
• Coordinate patient care with outside hospitals and doctors offices.
• Offer support to onsite midlevel providers.
• Perform administrative duties, including email correspondence and working with the dental team to clear patients for extractions.
• See occasional patients, typically no more than 10 per day.
