Senior Network Engineering Specialist

Join GovCIO as a Senior Network Engineering Specialist, where you will play a critical role in designing secure data movement paths. Overview As a vital part of our team, you will be responsible for devising secure connectivity and efficient data transfer solutions from the Horizon3.ai NodeZero platform to Government-approved cloud environments. Your expertise will enable the reliable ingestion of autonomous pentesting data at scale and contribute to our mission of enhancing government IT services. Key Responsibilities Design and implement secure connectivity and data transfer paths. Plan and enforce boundary protection, segmentation, and access controls. Support considerations for cross-domain data transfer and data guard planning. Facilitate scalable data movement for follow‑on execution and capability expansion. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in enterprise or DoD network architectures. Clearance Required: TS/SCI CI Poly. 10+ years of experience in enterprise or DoD network architectures. Familiarity with secure data transfer and boundary enforcement concepts. Knowledge of cloud platforms, virtualization, routing, automation, and network monitoring software. Strong critical thinking and complex problem‑solving skills. DoD8570.01-M IAT Level II certification (Sec+CE, SSCP, CND, CCNA Security, etc.). Compensation The expected salary range for this role is USD$176,000.00-USD$196,000.00 per year.
