Shift: 2nd Shift: 4:00pm-12:30am Monday-Friday (frequent Saturdays as needed)

3rd Shift 10:00pm-6:30am Monday-Friday (frequent Saturdays as needed)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintenance Technician II is an Electro-Mechanical position and responsibilities will include but not be limited to supporting manufacturing operations adjusting and repairing equipment as needed tracking usage of and ordering replacement parts.

• Diagnose and repair complex electro-mechanical problems with manufacturing equipment
• Perform detailed setup on equipment including recipe changes and control adjustments
• Repair and keep mechanical machine components in top operating condition
• Perform simple to complex mechanical Preventative Maintenance Tasks following instructions
• Intermediate understanding of electrical principles such as voltage current and resistance
• Diagnose and repair electrical control circuits field devices sensors photo eyes etc.
• Intermediate understanding of electrical safety and motor control circuits and programmable drives
• Troubleshoot the inputs and outputs on PLC and repair issues
• Complete projects to add electrical circuits and controls new equipment and relocate machines
• Maintain and repair pneumatic systems including repairs of cylinders and other components
• Perform simple to complex mechanical Preventative Maintenance Tasks following instructions
• Enter all work completed in computer-based maintenance program
• Monitor and report spare parts usage including completing parts order forms
• Adjust equipment based on Statistical Process Control data and team with QA
• Train new and Level 1 mechanics in more complex tasks and skills

Qualifications :

Associates degree in related field is desired

• Minimum 3 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of and experience with Lock-Out Tag-Out procedures
• Able to strictly adhere to safety policies/procedures and be committed to customer quality.
• Must be available for regular standby assignments; work scheduled off-hours and emergency overtime as required.
• Proficient in Word and Excel
• Must be willing to attend training sessions as needed including out of state locations
• Ability to assist in Training Level I TechniciansIntermediate knowledge of fabrication (ex. welding basic machining)
• Possess strong work ethic and knowledge of intermediate troubleshooting
• Able to read printed materials blueprints schematics and computer graphics
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team including the ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships employees vendors contractors and suppliers
• Ability to show attention to detail in a very fast paced environment
• Flexible and willing to work overtime as required
