Join Our Richman Signature Team as an Assistant Property Manager in Austin, TX!

Richman Property Services, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Assistant Property Manager with a passion for community and excellence to join our awesome Austin team!

This position is eligible for our new "Texas Stay Program" , which is designed to financially reward commitment, celebrate milestones, and support RPS new-hires along the way! You will be eligible to receive up to $3,000.00 during your initial first year with RPS as follows: paid after 90-days $500.00, after 6 months, $1,000.00, after one year of service, $1,500.00. All bonuses are paid in conjunction with our regularly scheduled payroll timeframes and dates, and are taxable. Employee must be active at the time of the scheduled payout dates.

Position : Assistant Property Manager


Location: Cedar Heights, our newer 304-unit affordable residential community located in Austin, TX 78744!

Hours: Standard day-time business hours are Monday-Friday from 9:00am-6:00pm, and includes weekend shifts or rotation.

Key Qualifications:

• 2-4 years experience with affordable residential communities
• Experience with Yardi property management software systems
• Valid driver's license required
• Bilingual, English/Spanish preferred, but not required

Responsibilities:

• Prepare resident legal notices and process annual lease renewals
• Verify lease information accuracy; handle resident inquiries and complaints promptly and courteously
• Manage work orders and maintain accurate records in Yardi software
• Conduct unit inspections and manage move-in/move-out processes
• Assist in leasing activities, resident relations, and social event planning
• Supervise turnkey operations in the absence of the Property Manager
• Rent collection, follow up on delinquencies, and resolve accounting discrepancies

Position Requirements :

• Education:
• Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience:
• 2-4 years in the apartment industry, preferably in an Assistant or Leasing position.
• Experience with Yardi software is preferred.
• Skills & Certifications:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Property Management software (e.g., Yardi), strong communication, organizational, and analytical/problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of Fair Employment Housing and EEO laws
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus
• Valid Driver's License required
