Manager In Training

As a Manager in Training, you will learn to lead a fast-paced retail store by overseeing daily operations, including sales, inventory, customer service, and team performance. This hands-on role provides the opportunity to develop leadership skills while ensuring the store runs smoothly and efficiently. You will focus on delivering an exceptional shopping experience for every customer while supporting a motivated and productive team. Reporting to the District Manager, this role offers mentorship and structured training to prepare you for a future Store Manager position. Responsibilities: • Lead and monitor inventory management processes to ensure proper stock control • Communicate effectively with the District Manager regarding any operational issues or challenges and collaborate on developing and executing corrective action plans to address identified problems • Oversee and manage all operational processes within the store, ensuring smooth day-to-day activities and efficient workflow across all departments • Perform daily administrative and clerical tasks • Recruit, train, and manage staff while ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures, holding team members accountable for performance and conduct Qualifications: • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen • Solid understanding of sales, budgeting, financial reporting, and inventory management to ensure store profitability • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with staff, customers, and management • High school diploma or equivalent, or the ability to obtain one through The Excel Center Compensation: $47,300
