Tech Nuclear Medicine

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel assignment to provide advanced imaging services in a high-volume facility. This role requires expertise in nuclear medicine procedures, ensuring accurate diagnostics and patient safety.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Execute nuclear imaging procedures such as bone scans, lung scans, and Hida gastric and cardiac procedures.
  
  
• 
  Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment from GE, Philips, and Siemens, adhering to safety protocols.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with physicians and staff to deliver precise diagnostic results and ensure optimal patient care.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patients during imaging procedures, providing clear communication and reassurance.
  
  
• 
  Document procedures accurately within the Meditech EMR system and maintain detailed patient records.
  
  
• 
  Follow all unit policies, guidelines, and safety procedures to ensure compliance and quality standards.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active ARRT (N) credential and a valid CO Nuclear Med Tech license.
  
  
• 
  Possess a minimum of 6 months of current acute care Nuclear Med Tech experience.
  
  
• 
  Be certified in BLS; additional certifications are a plus.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate experience working with large facility equipment and procedures.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit strong communication skills and an easy-going personality to foster teamwork.
  
  
• 
  Have prior experience with Meditech EMR preferred.
